Famed Boxer Celebrates Lechaim
Boxer Dimitry Salita, has been causing waves with all sorts of news agencies ever since leaunching his career. Dimitry, famous for never fighting on Shabbos, as he is a proud Frum Jew, and a Lubavitcher Chossid, celebrated his engagement this week to Allona Aharonov.

The celebration was held at Chabad of Flatbush, directed by Rabbi Zalmen Liberov, Dimiri's long time rabbi and friend. Friends and family of Dimitry, known for not losing a single fight, were astounded to see this prize boxer wearing a hat and jacket review a Mamer of the Rebbe at his Lechaim.

Chabad.info wished Salita a Binyon Adei Ad, may he continue to inspire youth to follow the ways of the Torah, even in the most secular circumstances.

1. a suggestion...
Yosy
Mazal Tov, Mazal Tov! It should be a binyin adei ad, AL YESODEI HATORAH ViHAMITZVOS...Towards making the aforementioned a reality - from here on in the ONLY boxing he should do is with the Yetzer Horah. For the simple reason that עס פאס'ט ניט פאר א פרומער איד צו זאך פארנעמן מיט אזעלעכער ענינים וד''ל

A wonderful time was had by all. K want to wish Dmitriy ( the next Junior Welterweight Champion of the World) and Aloni only Simchas throughout their lives.

4. #1 Yosy

He has a Rav(Rabbi Leeberov) & a future wife. Since when did you start acting like his mashpiah? In addition the Rebbe told many people from different backgrounds not to give up their careers(as long as it is not against Halacha).

5. I hope he doesn't stop boxing
Moshe
He's a living example of oros d'tohu bkeilim d'tikun. We need more like him instead of discouraging him. I bet you he knows how to box with his yetzer hara better than most. Big mazal tov and may he follow in the ways of Avraham avinu, Moshe Rabenu, Dovid hamelech and all the great warriors of Israel who knew how to fight spiritually as well as kick a$$ in plain physical sense. Mazal Tov.

6. G-d bless Star of David
Aron
G-d Bless Dmitriy Salita shame on Bob Arum for betraying him and the great lubavitches idea

7. mazal tov!!!!
Yisroel
May you both build together a everlasting edifice based on the Torah and Mitzvos as illuminated by Chassidus – the Light of of the Torah! May you have a lot of children in the best time and way possible and only have nachas from them forever! May G-D bless you in everything!

1.-Please explain how boxing is "according to halacha"? 2.-How is "boxing" a career like other careers? 3.-Which bochur do you know, that asked his mashpia if he should take up boxing -and if this is a fitting line of work? I rest my case.

9. Dovid Salita is the King of 140 lbs

Style makes the fights. There is nobody at 140 lbs who can beat Salita right now. Nobody.
